Welcome to Mastery Maths

A mastery maths programme for Years 1–6, inspired by the concrete–pictorial–abstract approach. Every lesson teaches one idea properly — pictures and visual models first, then guided steps, then challenging word problems — so understanding comes before speed.

Every lesson has six steps

🌱

1 · Discover

Meet the idea through a picture or story problem — see it before you solve it.

📚

2 · Learn

The method, step by step, with visual models and worked examples.

🔍

3 · Trace

Follow a worked solution closely, then try one just like it.

✏️

4 · Solve

Your turn — with hints if you slip, and the full working revealed if you need it.

🏆

5 · Challenge

A multi-step problem that stretches the idea further.

🎯

6 · Practice

20 questions from fluency to word problems, with a wrong-answer review at the end.

✅ Progress is saved automatically — your child can stop mid-lesson, mid-practice or mid-test on any device and pick up exactly where they left off after logging back in. Wrong answers always end with the correct answer and the full working, so every attempt teaches something.
